missing in action

Hey Readers,
    Hello beautiful people hope you have had a splendid week and are getting some good rest this weekend and for my people in America hope it was a blissful thanksgiving and you had a nice time shopping this black friday?.
  I have had a very eventful week i most confess but excitingly the semester is over and i sit and wonder how fast this phase of my life is going to move and before i know it am done with school (yaay) but all the same we must face the battle at hand. My daddykins also got promoted Gods prayers do work people trust in him, he has worked for me and he definitely will for you all. i also got my hair done and i must say i am loving every bit of it
Am going to live a skincare video down below for you all to watch as promised in a previous post and some pictures of my new hair :D
 i will be MIA from now am starting my exams soon so keep me in your prayers... Have a fabulous weekend and week ahead.. and dont forget to keep your date with God tomorrow its sunday

WORK!!! WORK !!!!! BUT REMAIN FOCUSED

Hey Readers/ followers
  Am really sorry i have been MIA. Got so caught up with school work and my final exams are fast approaching and because of that i have to intensify my study efforts lol remain focused. It's been a very exciting week with ups and downs but we will survive. Living downtown makes my life feel so busy but the joy about Ottawa is the great feeling that christmas is around the corner and am excited about celebrating the birth of christ but unfortunately my 2nd christmas without family(SAD) but on the bright side i get a turkey meal.....
 I realized that as we try to keep up with peoples expectations for us, social media, friends, fashion trends and all the things of life we forget why we where created, we forget that we are accountable to one person and we are living life to please him. i know it can be really hard to go through your daily activities and still remember that we have obligations we owe our God like taking a minute from our busy schedule to say a word of prayer when we wake up and before we go to bed, we also owe him that holy day called sunday but some of us still keep it to ourselves i wonder what for.........i think the key here is remain focused and remember that at the end of the day we are giving account to him and no one else. Also bear in mind that all the earthly possessions are all vanity and cannot take us to eternity.
On a lighter mode God loves us all so whenever we fall back on him he is ready to take us back. i had an amazing weekend with my friend Hodan at her birthday and here are some pictures. I had Pina colada and i loved it

FAITH HAS A FASHION SENSE !!!!!!

Hey Readers,
 I hope everyone is a having a fabulous day and you enjoyed yesterdays post. Am sure you guys are wondering how faith has a fashion sense but lets see what i mean by that.
I love to look good where ever i go and that is a known fact but then i have my faith which gives me direction on how to live and what to live by, we all have that thing that we live by some may choose to call it principles but i call mine FAITH.
I hear a lot of people say as a christian you are not entitled to look good but then i do not see the conflict between faith and fashion because i think you can still love your God and still look FABULOUS.
i have heard people teach that as a christian make up,hair extensions, jewellery and ear piercings make us ungodly. people out there are still confused about this but ti believe God also likes good things don't you? and there can be a bridge between fashion and faith.
Women by nature are very cautious about the way they look in public and they always want to stand out but the big question is can a woman of faith have good fashion and i will say YES!!!!
i have found away of merging these two different people. the first step is by understanding that it is perfectly okay to be bright and beautiful because God is.
Secondly i have discovered that you have to use your conscience and principles of your faith to guide your dressing. i have always lived by the slogan "Because it is in vogue doesn't mean it is meant for you".  God does not want us attracting negative energy towards us but rather positive energy,  bearing in ind that we can still be classy and work in line with God's will for us.
I appreciate people and religions that promote a balanced view towards out ward appearance. I believe that simplicity is the key, don't be to dressy, rigid or provocative but be decent and orderly. We ought to be fashionable and presentable but not to much that we forget to concentrate on our inner beauty as it is the most important. striking a balance between your inner beauty and outer beauty should be the key.
As ladies dressing,hygiene and personal grooming are very important but believe me your inner beauty shines and stands you out. Faith dwells on inner beauty and fashion outer beauty.
I love to see fashionable women around me but i dislike extreme fashion which comprises of skimpy clothes, excessive makeup and ornaments, tattoos and extreme piercings they are against my faith. provocation in appearance is unnecessary baggage that no one wants to be carrying. so we most strive to create that balance between inner beauty and outer beauty and we will realise that indeed faith has a fashion sense...... :)

GOD IS ALWAYS WATCHING

Hey Readers,
 I just realised growing up in a christian family does not give you a free ticket to heaven. it's only a guide we can choose to either follow or not as for me i have decided to follow that part nothing beats the love of God. It supersedes the love we get from worldly satisfaction, boyfriends, friends and all other things we can think about. I have been trying to find my deep rooted self in christ for a while and i must confess its pretty difficult and i finding myself falling but the best part of it all is that every time i fall God is always ready to pick me up. i can only relate Gods love to that of a mother and how she would always stand for her children whenever just like my mum did and is still doing :).
I talk to God like i would to my mother and i believe it has helped me express my self better and it only gets better when i know he sees everything am doing. I draw a lot of inspiration from Heather & Cornelius Lindsey by the way who says social networks can influence you positively, i found this amazing couple on instagram and i have been hooked to them since them. Check Heather Lindsey on heatherlindsey@blogspot.ca and bravo to me i just joined pinky promise and am hoping to start one or join one here in Ottawa and am believing it would be an interesting way of sharing the word with other beautiful ladies around who have chosen to honour God with their body and life, mind you married women are also involved in pinky promise so check them out on pinkypromisemovement.com.
I urge everyone reading this to try and seek the face of the lord and try and find ourselves inhim if you have not and share your amazing experience with him.
I will be sharing once in a while but that also depends on the response from this post, and tomorrow i will be talking about how to dress in the faith so you all check back tomorrow for more posts.

THE WEEKEND

Hey readers,
         am sure for my canadian and american family you all are thinking of the canadian singer the weekend but sorry to disappoint I did not meet the weekend. Well this weekend was pretty awesome. I went windowing shopping on friday at BayShore and it was my first time of going there but the interesting fact is that i did not buy anything it was hard but i overcame the challenge  I cannot explain how happy I am for achieving this. I hope to continue this journey and only buy stuff when necessary. On saturday I was off to Montreal it was definitely a good ride I enjoyed every bit of it. I did not get to see much of it  because I was at the airport all the time and i hit the road back to my beautiful city of Ottawa. I love it here no doubt and i have tons of school work to do but I"ll get through it. Its sunday so am pretty laid back and not doing much apart from working on my essay and now writing on the blog...
From this week am going to share one make up video and beauty secret video from my favourite youtube gurus @enibaby4  and +aymonegirl both on youtube these guys are the best hope you enjoy.
     It's a great week ahead guys try to bring out as much positivity as you can do not forget to watch the videos and have a great week ahead Remain blessed

Am I a Woman

Hey Readers,
            Hope you all are doing good? i have been listening to a lot of spoken word of recent. for those of you wondering what spoken word is it is an artistic performance of speaking your mind with a lot of gesticulation and facial expression and it has had my attention for a while so am going to share one with you today but before then i finally wrote my development mid-terms and it was great..... Thank God and my micro economics went well. so i am finally don with my mid terms time to focus on my finals... am excited to be ending this semester and i hope it turns out positively. i think maturity comes with wisdom and not with age, about what your brains can do for you and not what your body can do for you. I think the earlier we all realize this the better for the society in general. Don't forget to look at my pictures of the day down below an leave comments

Hey Readers,

   Its been a crazy week and weekend for me and in all of it i still carried you guys in my heart. I have some exciting news though, over the weekend my family friend graduated from university and as usual i will be bring pictures from this event. it was a weekend of merriment, dancing and all the good stuff that come with celebrating success.
I have a couple of tests to write this week so do not be surprised if i take a long break again this is due to my busy schedule and trying to prep for my final exams. Iyanya has done it again with his Le Kwa Ukwu video i just love how he dances like a woman, am going to leave the video down below.
I'll also encourage you guys to check out choies.com for amazing fall/autumn outfits. They never disappoint. i will also like for the guys to pay special attention to my picture on the right and learn to treat women right.

LIFE OF AN UNDERGRADUATE

Hey beauties,
                    I have been MIA( missing in Action) so sorry about that i had a meltdown at the beginning of the week. So many assignments to turn in and a lot of tests to write OMG....  I always had the blog on my mind but i just could not find the extra time to blog. My monday was a total slow crunch, i realized i had an assignment due the next day and i was up till at 3am. What have you guys been up to?
I finally did this assignment and i turned it in on time........yaay me. Tuesday is my marathon day i gave classes till 10 pm that is so unfair and it drains me out but yes i survived and getting home i slept like a baby...
Wednesday was my sleep in day and i swear i planned to blog but i was still tired and had a couple of classes to attend so i was back to square one at the end of the day. Thursday was similar i stayed up tip 3am reading because i have a couple of tests coming up next week and this weekend is so busy. The brother is graduating and so there is a lot of things going on this weekend so i better do all my readin g and preparation.
Am going back to my books now am currently in a class and i have to go back to it now i havea couple of pictures for you guys so watch out and follow my fave fashion bloogers at verygoodbadgirl and jadorefashion on instagram you will love them trust me

Another Week Begins

Hey Readers,
  Hope everyone had an amazing sunday because i kind of did until i had to hide my self in the library to read up for my courses and i was not able to take any pictures of my outfit but i wanted to give a sneak peek of my hair looking really full. Can you believe it is just 5:30 and its so dark already signs of the fall/winter season
 I actually did a lot of reading today and i hope it pays off can't believe this semester is almost over and the year inclusive. Am going to have a 25 day wish list for christmas and a give away for christmas?new year so stay glued to the blog you can never tell what i have coming your way.

HOUSE CHORES

Hey Readers,
      I cant believe i forgot yesterday was the first day in a new month. Happy new month sweethearts. Today was a pretty lazy day for me i was in bed till about 1pm when i got a call from my mum in Nigeria. i really needed the sleep its been a crazy week. i woke up with the intention cleaning up my room which i finally did and got my laundry, i feel quite accomplished today and now am thinking of how to work on my hair y'all know i took out my kinky braids so my hair is exposed and for those of you who don't know i started growing my hair about a year ago and impressively it has grown a lot proud of my hair.... i'll share a picture one of these days but today i'll be showing you what my room looks like today. FRIDAY GROOVES

Hey readers,
    Happy friday guys, yes thank God it's friday woah we can finally et some rest from the weekly schedule and sleep in a little with the weather here in ottawa you can snuggle up in your blanket and drink a warm cup of hot chocolate (yummy) talking about hot chocolate i had the cane hot chocolate from second cup on my school campus today and it was yummy i'll definitely be going back for more. I had a rather exciting day and am looking forward to an exciting weekend.
